What an exciting few weeks! Following the successful launch of SkyBridge, our team has been hard at work in the background building out SkyBridge and Airfox Arcade, as well as forming new partnerships and relationships with incredible projects and companies in the space.

If you have been keeping up with our new X account, @SkyBridgeApp, you will have seen a drastic increase in social media marketing efforts, as well as numerous updates to improve the overall user experience and functionality of SkyBridge. There is so much more to come. (Hint: 🕹️🕹️🕹️)

Now is the time to share some of what we have been preparing.

SkyBridge Launch​

Alongside our launch, we partnered with professional Base Jumper Tim Howell to create an exciting launch video.

Tim Howell and Airfox partnered to send a message on the importance of being prepared and the sense of confidence and security it instills. SkyBridge has been extensively audited by Hacken in order to provide the most secure experience possible when transferring assets between Ethereum and Base.

Tim Howell is a professional wingsuit BASE jumper, alpinist, and former Royal Marine who has made many first descents around the world.

Coinciding with SkyBridge's launch, we partnered with Base to release a free video mint on Zora to commemorate our launch. At the time of writing, there have been over 3,000 mints!

A Bridge for Everyone​

All projects that are looking to create cheap, fun, and addicting games for their holders no longer need to build their own bespoke applications. Gone are the days of expensive proprietary NFT bridges and getting custom token support developed or whitelisted on existing platforms.

Better yet, by our strength in numbers, our community has already deployed over 80 Ethereum tokens to Base using SkyBridge, enabling their use in Base applications and experiences, including many of the most popular memecoins and utility projects of the year: APU, SPX6900, UNCX, OSCAR, RNDR, GPU, and many more.

As true believers in decentralization, our experiment in permissionless multichain deployment from token holders has been a massive success, and we are just getting started. Own it? Bridge it.

Airfox Arcade: It's Go Time​

Now that SkyBridge is out, our infrastructure is in place. Holders of any Ethereum token or NFT project can now bring their assets directly to Base without needing anyone's permission or any programming experience. And it's now easier, cheaper, and faster than ever.

We are now excited to finally announce that the public beta for Airfox Arcade will be released in Quarter One of 2025! Huzzah! 🎉

It is time: the Airfox Ecosystem will tokenize everything to build the Web3 gaming world of our dreams.

Airfox's Second Game Jam!​

We are also thrilled to announce the Second Annual Airfox Arcade Game Jam will be going live in Quarter One!

Our first Game Jam took place in 2023 and we received over thirty entries! This time around, we are increasing our prize pool and our marketing efforts to make it bigger than ever! An arcade is nothing without games, so let's start playing some games!

But wait, there's more! All valid entries from the second annual game jam will be published to Airfox Arcade's beta to increase our starting lineup of great titles. Additionally, select titles from the first game jam will be available for play on Airfox Arcade beta in Q1.

The beta of Airfox Arcade is limited to Unity games only, and titles will be integrated into the Arcade backend with our proprietary API.

The Bridge to Everywhere​

We recently shared a blog outlining the first major utility update to Airfox SkyBridge, called Unalloyed Liquidity. We have been silent on this since publishing, but are now ready to report some great news!

We have hired multiple additional developers since the initial release of SkyBridge and have dramatically increased our development efficiency. Not only is our work at testnet readiness, but we have also been able to include several unannounced features that will be sure to increase SkyBridge's market share in the Web3 infrastructure space. We look forward to sharing more info on what to expect in the future. Merry Christmas! 🎁

Additionally, we are nearing production of our SkyBridge UX redesign which has been months in the making. Stay tuned for updated elements rolling out in future updates!

Everyone wants a piece of the fox. And who can blame them?

We are now officially partnered with Hacken, HackenProof, and Zebec, to support and grow our ecosystem. Keep an eye on the new partners banner on our website and see it grow and change over time! We have surprises in store.

We are the first project to set up custom actions for automated disaster response in the unlikely event of an exploit on SkyBridge. Thanks, Hacken Extractor!
